We understand that sometimes situations change or expectations differ, and this Return and Refund Policy explain how we handle such cases fairly and transparently. Our approach follows the consumer protection guidelines applicable in Hong Kong and aligns with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) to ensure your information remains secure throughout the process.
Due to the nature of dress rentals, returns are accepted only under specific circumstances. You may request a return if:
The delivered dress is visibly damaged upon arrival.
The incorrect size or item was sent.
The rental item significantly differs from the description or photos on our website.
To be eligible, the item must remain unworn (except for an initial fitting), unwashed, and in the same condition as received. All original tags and packaging must be intact.
Requests for returns must be made within 24 hours of receiving the dress by contacting us at info@oystics.com with your order number and supporting photos.
We are unable to accept returns in the following cases:
If the dress has been used, stained, or altered after delivery.
If the request is made after the rental period has expired.
If minor variations in color or texture occur due to lighting or fabric characteristics.
Refunds are issued only through bank transfers once the returned item passes our inspection. Please allow up to 7–10 business days after approval for the amount to appear in your account. We will request your bank details to complete the transfer securely in accordance with the PDPO requirements.
In cases where the return request is denied, we will notify you promptly with a clear explanation. No deductions or service charges are applied for approved returns.
We currently accept Cash on Delivery (COD) payments only. This means you pay the rental amount directly upon receiving your order. Refunds for COD payments will be processed exclusively via bank transfer to ensure traceability and safety.
All personal details collected for return or refund purposes are handled in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) of Hong Kong. We use such information strictly for verifying the transaction and processing the refund. Data is stored securely and never shared with unrelated third parties.
